"A Quiver Full of Arrows" By Jeffrey Archer

So after going through the first phase of reading philosophies and fictions, I made a foray in the world of short stories. The main motive of making this foray was to finish reading these kinds of books in a short span but boy this was a hard book to start with. Jeffrey had used the most difficult words I had ever come across in my life. Seriously, these words took the crap out of me. But I took that lag very positively and today I am having a written vocabulary of more than 550 unusual words.

This book includes following stories
  • The Chinese Statue
  • The Luncheon
  • The Coup- The story of two business rivals who happen to check in at the same hotel in another country in order to expand their business and end up resolving their differences after a military coup that leaves them stranded.
  • The First Miracle
  • The Perfect Gentleman
  • One Night Stand
  • The Century
  • Broken Routine
  • Henry's Hiccup
  • A Matter of Principle
  • The Hungarian Professor
  • Old Love-The love story of two undergraduates at Oxford in the 1930s that begins with bitter rivalry.
Each story in this book has a different taste and theme. It takes only 3-4 pages to make interest in a story and once you have reached there, I promise you, you will not feel like leaving it till the end. That's the magic......
So you can enjoy
